Andy's escape was such a joyous one, that nobody expected it, not even Red. Though we can nitpick some details, such as why Andy was allowed to stay in the same cell for years, or how the Racquel Welsh poster still stayed intact, despite him supposedly escaping underneath it, you'll be still rooting for him.

I love how on a rewatch of Across The SpiderVerse, you can really see the tells after Miles ends up on Earth-42. The animation style is just a little different, his mom's eyes are a different color, the jacket he wears is a more villainous purple and green. it's subtle, but it's great.

This mist ending was such a plot twist. Never saw it coming. Killed your own family, stepped outside to let yourself be killed by one of the monsters only just to see the military save the day. It was all for nothing.

Fun Fact: Stephen King actually applauded the ending of The Mist. He went as far to say I wish I had come up with an ending like that. That’s how you know you’ve made an author proud and made a great movie

We surprised that the spider originally came from Earth-42.
We’ll continue to wait patiently until Beyond the Spider-Verse’ comes out possibly in 2027.

Even Stephen King stated that he preferred the darker, more tragic ending of The Mist from the film, and honestly wished that he'd thought of it.

I said one that could’ve been here would have been in the ending to ready or not 2019 that was such a funny and crazy twist
