DreamWorks knocked it out of the park with The Wild Robot. It is one of the best movies they've made throughout the years. The animation and visuals are visually and aesthetically beautiful, the music is amazing, the voice cast is well-chosen, and the storyline and message are emotionally gripping. They tackled a lot of realities in the wild that other animation studios would most likely sugarcoat. Absolutely well done.
One of my favorite moments is the truce moment with Fink and the animals sheltering with Roz. And, of course, there were some tear-jerker moments. I wouldn't mind watching it again.

It is honestly so impressive what this movie did, making a robot more human and having us believe the relationships created are real, but then again, this is Dreamworks we’re talking about and when they put effort into a movie, whether it’s making a story about a big fat panda more deeper than it should be, judging a book by its cover without changing the cover, all of How to Train Your Dragon or even making a movie about potty humour work, Dreamworks gives it their all and for the most part, ends up making some of the greatest animated movies of the century.

Honestly i loved this movie and honestly felt like crying because of how heartwarming it is especially since a lot of people can relate to this movie especially kids who are adopted or find out they are adopted can really relate to this movie because they basically feel what brightbill felt when he learned what really happened to his birth parents so i feel like alot of kids who are adopted can really relate to this movie and not going to lie I did feel like crying because its just so heartwarming and im usually not one to cry in movies

Not the movie we deserve, but the one we need right now, for all those reasons and more.
Though I do want to give special mention to Paddler making Roz her wooden leg. It's a much more low-key moment than most of what's on here, but it does hit me in the feels. Especially given that Roz hadn't done anything for Paddler at that point. Just goes to show that her kindness is rubbing off on others. And hey, I suppose if anyone could relate to someone engaged in a seemingly hopeless endeavour, it would be Paddler.

I have been reading the original book that The Wild Robot is based off of
There are a lot of differences in characters and relationships (Ex: Roz gains the respect of much of the animals in the forest, well before the extreme winter)
But I would say that the movie is pretty accurate in theme and wholesome beauty to the truce between the animals when they all go to the lodge for shelter during the harsh cold.

I can see into the future and I see this.
Oscar night 2025: The nominees for best animated film are, Inside Out 2, The Wild Robot, Lord Of The Rings: War of the Rohhim, Piece By Piece, Transformers One
And the Oscar goes to. The Wild Robot!
Announcer: This is the 1st Oscar and 4th nomination for Chris Sanders. He was nominated in this category for How to Train Your Dragon, The Croods, and Lilo & Stitch

I saw this movie in theaters and just to clarify I’m not a type of person who cries in a movie theater because of the movie but this ONE movie changed my life, i cried so hard and i didnt see it with my mom so i was telling her about it and i also cried when i was telling her about it. Now I’m waiting for when it comes into a platform so i can show her it but i don’t promise to be there again

This movie made me laugh, cry and smile. The Wild Robot is the best animated movie since Mutant Mayhem last year. Loved the animation, performances, and pure heart. The Wild Robot is Oscar gold. I loved the winter truce scene so much. Thank you for making this video #msmojo.

My brother and I watched this movie in teathers and I almost cry. This movie is a masterpiece. I just wish my Mom went with us that day. She was very tired so she stay in home. But I know she would love the film.

What do you think Roz would do to go see her animal friends on the island with how she chose to go back to her creators just to protect them although it's great that Bright Bill is the only one who visits her
reply

One of the reasons why Roz couldn't stay with her animal friends is how she couldn't change her body parts on the island with how moss was growing on her which is why she had to go back to the factory

Cried about 5 times watching this masterpiece, this movie is one of DreamWork's best creations, and i serriously hope they will NOT make a sequel, because this is the ultimate ending.
please. no sequel

5) A Winter Truce always makes me think of The Ancient Woodland Vow or The Oath of Mutual Protection from The Animals of Farthing Wood: It's a promise not to frighten, terrorize, nor consume one another.
reply

I’m so happy for this movie and DreamWorks really knocked it out with this film. Now if only they’d get to work on a sequel or prequel to ROTG. Also, I wouldn’t mind a follow up to KFP 4
reply

One of DreamWork's greatest films yet. The whole thing is beautiful, and the scene on the ship where Brightbill tells Roz he love her and wakes her up always makes me tear up.
reply

I love that movie, just I would love to have robot parent not mother. Because otherwise it is too much pressure for woman they HAVE TO STAY HOME and TAKE CARE for kids and have kids.
reply

Loved this movie so much I was crying as I left the theater and called my mom for a pickup.
Are you crying
I can’t help it. It was a heartwarming movie.
(Annoyed sigh)
