Even 20 years later, Syndrome is still considered the GOAT of Pixar villains. He truly doesn't deserve much sympathy, because while Mr. Incredible could've let Buddy down more gently, he clearly didn't understand that being a superhero is dangerous, shown when he was oblivious to Bomb Voyage planting a bomb on his cape (which brilliantly foreshadows his demise.
Mr. Incredible was only rejecting Buddy for his own good, which is why he had to let Bomb Voyage go, simply so he wouldn't have the death of a reckless kid on his conscious. But sadly, Buddy took the rejection too personally and went well beyond excuse when he became the psychopath he was. His revenge mindset distorted him so much that when he recalls Mr. Incredible saying: Fly home buddy, I work alone! Mr. Incredible looks at him directly, with Bomb Voyage nowhere to be seen, when in reality, Mr. Incredible was holding Bomb Voyage while addressing Buddy, not having his entire focus on him.

The problem with Doom is that the comic did it better. In the cartoon, the revenge schemes were well thought out, they just weren't Batman's. Shooting Superman with a krytonite bullet Batman doesn't use guns. Getting Wonder Woman to fight herself to death Not only does Batman not kill, but civilians could have been seriously hurt. Martian Manhunter burning from a fire he can't put out In the comic, this was countered by putting him in a suit filled with water, but in the cartoon, even water couldn't put out the fire.

Justice League: Doom was an animated take on the Tower of Babel arc in the JLA comics; with Vandal Savage substituted for R'as Al Ghul. Of course, Batman arrogantly claims his failsafes were 'justified'.
Sentinel Prime Deserved his fate.
In regards to Agatha- Yes-- Bullies Deserve % Retaliation- Peter Parker was too lenient on Flash Thompson.
Syndrome is a pathetic sidekick wannabe who Never once deserved Any sympathy; he's essentially Jesse Eisenberg's Luthor- pathetic and insipid.

reply

The elder of Paranorman said he wasn't gonna risk damnation on the ppl bc of Agatha. He caused that himself.
If Mr. Incredible accepted Buddy, he would've gotten killed. Buddy then, was an overly enthusiastic fanboy. He said he didn't need any training. So telling him no was the right thing. But should've been nicer about it.
The Spot's power r amazing, but I like his appearce his the 90's series better.

reply

Spot only has himself to blame for being turned into The Spot.
HE chose to collect OBVIOUSLY DANGEROUS dark matter while the Spiders were stopping the collider.
I guarantee you his coworkers tried to get him to leave, bit he insisted on getting the dark matter, despite the obvious risks and they left him, because they weren't risking their lives just because he wanted to collect some dark matter

There’s also Dave from Penguins of Madagascar. His entire plan is due to penguins being more loved and famous than him. After he manages to abduct every penguin from all the zoos in the world (except Private, he mutates them with the Medusa Serum into ugly abominations that causes the people to call the exterminators.

There goes the saying: Revenge is like a splinter. It gets under your skin and can poison your mind. It only leads to more pain.
Upon watching this, this shows how villains are not born. They are created. Some parts in the video, I can understand, but some, I think they were just petty.

When I become a filmmaker, I am going to make some animated films that are planned by me to have villains with great revenge schemes. If you want to ask me what the movies are, what the villains are, and their schemes, please send a comment down below asking me, and I will answer you.

There's a Reason why Sentinel is called Pompous Gas Bag Prime in Transformers these days. He's Arrogant, Selfish and only Cared about power more than anything else and the worst part is that In Animated He Drives like SpongeBob SquarePants.

While Mewtwo learns from Ash’s sacrifice and redirects his revenge toward Team Rocket in Mewtwo Returns, Aaravos shows no signs of stopping. Do you think Aaravos could ever change, or is his vengeance too deep-rooted

12: 31 so he's basically saying he will kill millions of people to prove his point when he sells his inventions that makes people special just to prove his point. that is very dark for him to do that.
reply

I thought Mr Incredible didn't want Buddy toi become a Super Hero sidekick so that Buddy could stay in school and not have to see horrible people and dark things of humanity. I never saw Extinct. -

The twist in Paranorman is extremely dark, especially for a kids' film. Poor Aggie, you can't help but feel sorry for her, after the trauma she experienced at the hands of her town.
reply

I think you forgot Lady Tremaine's plot to ruin Cinderella's Happily Ever After in the video. You truly want revenge if you travel back in time to make someone's life miserable.
reply

All of these villains are very justifiable! But other animated villains with great revenge schemes are Dave the octopus, Yokai, Sweet Pete, Superfly, and Lotso Huggin' Bear.

Thanks for putting Dawn of the Nugget on your list. I know it didn't achieve the greatness of the original Chicken Run but I still enjoy the film nonetheless.
