Shakedown Hawaii Gameplay - A 16-Bit Grand Theft Auto!
video description
- -Death Wish 3- for the ZX Spectrum had the freedom element, where you could travel around a city shooting, entering buildings, and doing so many things regardless of the plot.
- -Turbo Esprit-, for the Spectrum as well, had the driving factor: You could drive wherever you want ignoring the plot if you so wish.
- -Shenmue-, for the Dreamcast (1999) was the first game in which you could travel around a 3D city talking to people, entering buildings, buying things, fighting and so on. And in one stage you could drive a motorcycle.
Dont forget GTA 3 was released in 2002, so GTA has absolutely nothing original to it.\r\n

If this game has character customization or and vehicle/weapon customization, more buildings to enter and buy from, a good story, loads of trophies/achievements then it will be a perfect 10 for me because the open world Hawaii, 16bit graphics weapons, vehicles, HUD/UI, game modes and gameplay look amazing. Also, the sound effects and music are amazing too. This will surely be better than Retro City Rampage, GTA 1 and GTA 2.

Man, I want to play this. I loved Retro City Rampage, but this looks ten times better. Great Synthwave music. With RCR, it had that distinct 8-bit, NES feel. This has more of a sixteen bit Genesis/Megadrive feel, which I compliments this game perfectly.

I never played retro city rampage. So while this does look like fun, i hope there is some direction and mission elements to the game because mindless destruction without a goal will get dull quick.

The game looks pretty, the soundtrack is nice, but the concept of the game is horrible. It's one thing if people are shooting at you but its another thing if they are running away from you.

Imagine if this came out on nintendo systems alongside GTA. And GTA was only on playstation, and saints row was only on xbox. The fanboy wars woulda been super real.

Sure hope my sweet potato can run this. Otherwise I might need to buy some extra toe-nail clippings to tape on, maybe even have to buy an entire new Yam!

Slightly distasteful game in light of all these shootings in public places and this just seems to be pointless of shooting of random people and things.

Only thing that bothers me is that player grabs the submachine gun like an assault rifle and the assault rifle like a submachine gun.

Looks amazing, but it looks like I'll be waiting for a long time to get it on Steam. if it even makes it on there.

Goddamn. Looks just like the old one but with better graphics and animation. I'm definitely getting this.
