Here are my tips:
To successfully get through the -bats- (chain of spike dudes) in the ice water (4: 15) you can wait until they're about to hit you then jump into the water and swim and there's enough time to hit that gap then immediately jump back into the water to get out without waiting for the cycle to end.
I have heard that you can spam shaking the joycon to get past the gliding part (6: 32) and skip the pipe entirely if you aerial jump at the end when he times out, I have not been able to pull that off, so I can't speak to that.
The autoscrolling platform with the porcupines ) (7: 30) gave me the most trouble, so I hung off the ledge and went into two player, then used cappy more precisely to take them out without activating the sonar-things. You have to switch which side you're hanging off of so you're always hanging off of the back, and this is much easier with a friend to help, but this strategy made it extremely easy for me (I actually only realized I could do it after I had already finished, but it does work)

The bit before the lava bubbles is super easy if you just repeatedly long jump. Keeping yoshi for the flower path is a lot easier because you can flutter jump to go over the 4 block high wall by jumping on the 2 block high one first. There is also a huge stack of coins behind the building with the multi moon on top. You also get a lot of coins if you answer all the Sphynx's question right after it moves to reveal the crowned heart.

Theres a lot of ways to cheese this. For starters, at the 2nd part after you launch out of the fireball cannon, you can skip the freezing water section with the uproot and that hidden block that he found. Additionally, the part with the gold rings and the snappy walls? Forget about that cuz theres a skip for that too! How to do it? Eh, its easy enough to find on your own. Good luck!

at 6: 33 you can skip the whole pokio and laser part in the second pipe if you just use glidon and shake the joycon reapetedly, and make sure you hit the tornadoes, too! There is another skip at 5: 58, where you ride the platform above the scarecrow, this'll work easier in two player, though.

This one can be brutal, but to make up for not having any checkpoints, you have several heart pickups along the way.
Most of this isn't too hard, except the pokio part where you must flick from the 2nd platform to the 3rd platform. Can't tell you how glad I was to be using Assist Mode-and amiibos.

I used the peach and wedding Mario to become invincible and get an extra 3 hearts and replenish health the first time then I did a one try run without and beat it cuz replenished health means you have more hits and doesn't mean that it doesn't require some skill as there are many death pits

Lol you missed so many shortcuts. When you are the plant strech above the? Block and get on top to skip. When you got rid of you hat the platform moves up stay on that and go to the top. Also shake your controller while being fly don to get super high and skip the bowser part

At the beginning, you can actually beat the purple hat enemy with a little cheese method I happened upon. On that first set of grey steps past the goombas, you can wait on the top for the hat to pass by. From there, you can jump on it; no goomba stacking required. Easy.

-REALLY HELPFUL TIP! -: When controlling Glydon you can shake the controller to gain more height and if you just go straight and don't hold any other direction you can skip the whole pipe area and get right to the painting! Hope this helps!

First part is all easy after practice, the key thing is to take your time. It had taken a good amount of tries I always messed up the timing with the woodpeck bird part before the Donkey Kong part.

Does no one know about shaking the controller with Glydon? If you shake it, he stays up in the air, like flying. He doesn't drop at all. It makes going long distances easier.

For the part where the metal wall juts out at you. You can activate the scarecrow on the first platform and ride it all the way to the top of that maze and skip it.

I finished this yesterday with out damage and if you do finish darker sides champion road then you get a cap that makes Mario gone 1 like for 3 sides

1: 50 You could also just jump on the biggest wave and long jump then jump on Cappy and do it until you get to the next part
