Man, I was going to watch just to tally up everything they'd just get wrong but the first comment here by GeekyTheArtist about the original Coyote costume means that they don't even KNOW. where that head was actually from so if right out of the gate they flubbed on THAT. Yeah, I'll just leave my cocky comment and let the rest of you be misinformed. Sigh. the internet, ya know! Does ANYONE know how to use it for research or is it that hard to avoid the post button before all the facts are in? I know the answer it just blows my mind still.

heh, I'm from the old generation that still remembers -Showbiz Pizza-, where -Billy Bob- the bear was the star. it had the same commercial too, in the 80s -Showwwwbiz Pizza! Where a kid can be a kid! - The pizza was forgettable; the real attraction was the games, basically. and the various toys/trinkets you could get with tickets you win in the -skee-ball- game.

oh my god. i must be obsessed with this subject cuz there-s nothing in this i didn-t already know, aside from the fact that nobody else knew about it! Excellent discussion though, really fun to hear about it from here- i-m happy the history is still being shared!

I used to visit the original site when I was a kid growing up in Cupertino/San Jose areas. I always thought the shows were creepy and the pizza ok. I only went cause one of the teen boys working there showed me which games were broken and gave free credits.

To be fair, the only people who have been to a Chuck E Cheese are children of divorce, I don't know how it works, but Chuck E Cheese is the kind of place a step dad takes you.

3: 00 what are you talking about of course they're related - Apple is basically Chuck-E-Cheese's cousin; they both came from people from Atari
reply

They keep talking about the old and original animatronics but it's the same ones that i grew up with and im just 16 - i always liked the dog

I know I'm rolling in late on this one, but the toasted subs were the low-key heros of the menu when I worked there in the late 00's.

my mom never let me even get CLOSE to stepping foot into a chuck e cheese as a child and i'm in my 20s but honestly. now i gotta.

Just noticed that the logo is shaped like a d20 dice and now I desperately want an episode dedicated to Dungeons & Dragons

For being a Chuck E. Cheese expert, the fact that Chris said Pizza Time Restaurant and Pizza Showbiz made my soul hurt.
reply

for real tho, i would go to a chuck e. cheese to see vocaloid concert-style chuck e cheese holograms

Here to make sure the people know that the Rock-afire Explosion band was the superior animatronic band
