I haven't played to many of the metal gear games, but really like survival games. This ones ok. I've play through the whole campaign and recently started multiplayer. Enemies get a lot harder, also there is a large variety of them. Some enemies have special effects like camouflage or invincibility. One of which called Tracker is really annoying. Working on that end game content is a grind. As it's only a $40 game I think its worth it especially if your into survival games.

So basically:
- The -survival- elements boil down to annoying timers that you need to constantly babysit.
- The game doesn't provide adequate resources and gates off common sense solutions to getting those resources for no reason.
- Combat is samey and tedious, and can be easily cheesed by exploiting dumb AI.

It-s a completely uninspired, grind-heavy, game that-s practically an asset flip of MGSV. Zombies, horde mode, and boilerplate survival elements. Survive reads like checklist of -What-s hot right now? - from the past decade. I-m sure the next Metal Gear game will be a similar half-hearted stab at a Battle Royale. And much like Survive, it-ll be a $10-$15 DLC mode sold as a complete $40 game.

Honestly I enjoy this game. I know half the internet only says they hate the game to seem cool in front of everyone else, but for the people that ACTUALLY don't like this game, that's okay. Everyone has their own opinions but it really annoys me that some say they hate it without actually playing the game.
