OMG, The Beatles always made it to the top, all their songs became number 1 hits, though I wasn't born yet during their era, but I really appreciate and adore all their songs, I really really love all the songs they made, Now I realize why my late father idolized them so much, he always played their songs on the cassette way back then, hearing their songs always make me feel that my father is still alive, I always remember him every time I heard Beatles songs, aside from them he also idolized Gary Lewis and the Playboys and Herman's Hermits, it was my late father who introduced me to the songs of these greatest boy bands of all time, such wonderful memories, I hope my dad is already happy in where he is right now, Thank you dad, I loved and missed you so much, and thanks to all these amazing boy bands and singers for their greatest contribution in the world of music.

Pop was slowly starting to get serious during this stage: of course the Beatles and British Invasion are to blame, but US Soul was also leaving the Doo Wop era behind and adopting a new sound (which still sounds fresh today, The Supremes and Four Tops are example of that. At the same time Bubblegum is starting to appear with The ShangriLas and I'd say The Byrds are important in the development of Baroque Pop (this band is super underrated imo. Sonny and Cher are kinda like a preview of the Hippie era concepts and last but not least, The Rolling Stones are fundamental in the expansion of Blues Rock (the father of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. I can understand why some people would prefer the Stones to the Beatles, they had a lot of attitude for its time (I prefer the Beatles though, Blues Rock can become quite repetitive as a style.

Yes the rest of the bands are good including the Rolling Stones, the Searcher's Gerry and the pace makers
all from Liverpool and Billy J Kramer, Animals, Dave Clarke Moody Blues and the list goes on and on all far better then the Beatles to me they are the most over rated group of the 60's in the right place at the right time as the saying goes and Hey Jude as to be the most boring song of all time never ends not even a Funeral dirge I admit good song writers apart from Penny Lane and Yellow submarine very childish to me and I grew up in the 60's but the Rolling Stones are far better but then I was more of a Rocker than a Mod

You unfortunately forgot Jim reeves, I believe he had a few hits in the UK in 1964 and 1965, I am sorry if I’m incorrect but when you think of british charts in the 60s you think of things like the Beatles yes, but there would have of always been a Jim reeves song in the top 10 Atleast

I'm not talking bad about music because I like music. It's just that music today seems to be going backwards some. For example: Some songs today sound like from the '60's and '70's. It's kind of interesting. The only thing is we can't go back to those decades, but I wish we could.

FANTASTIC! Amazing job getting this lot together! Never knew The Beatles had so many special releases overseas, which went No. 1. It would be great to see all these videos in full, but there’s probably many reasons why that is not possible.

One song you need to add is Down in The Boondocks by Billy Joe Royal. it went to Number One in Canada, sometime in 1965. I attended his funeral in October 2015 in North Carolina. He was a great Singer and performer.
