Adoring them they probably made stuff for them to be in (considering they arent domesticated, they left them to their own stuff.
Once they moved out, they left them behind because they were probably originally feral that were just like domesticated cats due to the attention they received.
Obviously for feral cats, especially these ones, you might not want to take them with you as they belong there.
There is also the possibility to which you all seem to believe without questioning, and that is if the owners did leave their domesticated cats behind.
However, all the variables dont really add up. They are outdoor cats that receive attention from humans.
Considering there were also kittens, they wouldnt just leave them there since they are young and vulnerable.
As much as I hate people, the previous owners most likely did not leave them behind. They just lived with them.

WONDERFUL! We had a similar situation 17 years ago when a person dropped of an entire cat family on our property--YES! We had them fixed and kept them all; a few have since died of old age, but we still have five and they are wonderful indoor kitties! THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THEM ALL!

When I bought my current house, it came with several mice! My 17 year old Girl Kittie went right to work
eliminating the problem. It took less than a week! I lost her about a year later when she got loose and got hit by a car. So I adopted a new Kittie from the shelter!

She should build a soft roof for the Christmas gift the fence thing idk and for the other fences should be covered with soft comfy walls with lights like a comfy Christmas cat room!
