I wd NOT have released the fawn to the doe in such a heavily populated area with many roads. I wd have tranked the doe then taken them both many miles away into a forested area, then released them there not in a residential hood.

No one mentioned this, but the fact they wore gloves so the fawn wouldn't smell like humans, was awesome. Most folk don't consider that they're supposed to remain scentless as to hide from predators.
