We used to call them little spitters. If you find yourself with a feral fuzzy ball of claws and hate weighing less than about three pounds, or around a kilo, its essential to gently force attention on them, as opposed to waiting for them to decide if they like humans. Cloth towel purrito, paper towels handy to wipe your blood off your hands, gentle handling and talking to them, dont flinch or show any fear when they act aggressive. Dont punish them for being frightened and feral, theyre just following their core instincts to survive.
Try to schedule your socialization sessions just before feeding time, so they feel rewarded for tolerating human contact. During the socialization period, emphasize the connection between humans and food. Hungry kitty Then be nice to the humans and they will feed you. If safe to do so, hand-feed treats and dry food, but dont sacrifice your fingers!
Treat all cat bites, even from tiny kittens, as highly septic, almost venomous. If a bite breaks the skin, immediately wash with disinfectant, apply antibiotics, bandage. If swelling and inflammation occur, seek medical help quickly. Ive seen cat bites go from eh, no big deal, to if the doctors office isnt open, were heading for the emergency room! within a few hours.

One of my rescues was an adult that had gone semi-feral in shelter due to low amounts of human contact, and it took a few months of careful work to get him to come out of hiding around us. He's a lap-loving cuddlebug now, and thankfully was a hider/stealthcat instead of choosing violence, but at the start he only picked one of the family humans to even go near.
Sometimes they just take time and effort.

I want to start by saying I admire the work you do for socialising and fostering wild kittens. I applaud you for your patience and devotion!
That being said, I feel like shoving a phone in a scared kitten who's distrustful of humans to film is asking to be attacked. If they're able to swipe (and hit) your phone like in the first part of the video, you're too close.

So animals should trust humans and if they don't they get put in isolation away from family Trust the ones destroying the planet. Trust the one's who torture cats for views on the internet. This little one REALLY reminds me of a lesson I learned working in a preschool. The kids that need loved the most, will ask for it in the worst ways. He really didn't trust easily, but one he does, such a lover.

Animals in general are scared of humen, so they wanna keep distance. Dog is exceptional though, friendly social animal. Cant expect cat to be friendly like dog, they will hiss and spit.

Heh reminds me of a european wildcat even looks like one too. Except they're never tameable they're always wild they might calm down but they never want anything to do with humans.
