Rescued Puffin Spoiled By New Mom Gordon Ramsey once documented how to catch and slice apart one of this funny guys to make an episode for his show. i will take this Icelandic dottir as a teacher over hundreds of Ramsays any and every day. Nasty chef and human being against someone happy to help blind, broken bird. I dont need his 50 or 50 hundred Michelin Star meals in my life. but, i do need compassion, patience, laughter from a heart. Not his pathetic sadistic frustrations stemming from childhood and disguised as fine cuisine way of art. He destroyed so many people heartlessly to become known as what he is. this are the kind of people that i admire in my mind and lift imaginary statues made of light, sky-high. quiet, genuinely good hearted, enjoying smallest of things in life, especially the gift of giving. im not a believer, but words - bless you - might describe what i wish to you right now in most precise way. Puffins of the world join greetings to their Icelandic sister. Best regards from all of us. where ever we might be.

The vet said if she left him there, he'd be put down
Vets should be required, by law, to have some sort of rehab center for the animals they treat. I'm glad Asrun was able to take him in and give him a place to recuperate and live a happy life, but this isn't always the case. Gladly accepting money to treat the animal but unable to continue to care for it just because they don't have a rehabilitation center doesn't add up.

I recently saw a video of a woman who adopted a fox cub that was born in a pelt farm. The cub could not be rewilded and she took it on as a pet, and gave it a great life. I honestly think, if you have the inclination to look after an animal that can not make in the wild by itself, don't feel any moral issue about giving it a good life, just do it.

I was lucky enough to see Puffins in Scotland last year, and I thank you, Asrun, from the bottom of my heart for saving this little guy. Puffins are amazing creatures and it makes me so happy to see this little lad got the chance for a good life.

It's never a new owner, it's always new mom. Like u birthed it or something. The cope these women go through in order to justify either not having children or not being good to there children they had to turn to animals

The real tragedy here is that poor sweet puffin will never ever see that stunning Icelandic rescuers beautiful face! She is not only a loving caring human being she’s absolutely gorgeous with it even the accent! Wow!

Oh that poor little thing. I hope she keeps him and takes good care of him. He wouldn't make it no time at all in the wild being blind. He's soooooooo cute! Even the word Puffin sounds cute! Ha ha
reply

Most likely he busted up his beak from a fall or most likely quite a few falls, poor little fellow. Well, at least he found a angel to take care of him. Good for you girl.

They live here n Earth and are our cohabitants, we all gotta either get along and hope not to get eaten, or fight eachother till the whole surface of Earth lay pumped and beaten

Must have had a very traumatic experience to have a broken beak and be blinded at his mature age.
What a saint this lady is

Puffins are so extraordinary. Very interesting and wholesome to see someone take care of a puffin, especially a blind one.
