TY to this kind hearted dog loving Man that happened by in His kayak. if not for Him, who knows how much, the poor malnourished dog would have lasted for some one to deliberately abandon this poor sweet and innocent dog on an island is so cruel, animal abuse, and if any One knew who did it They would be charged with abuse, neglect, and abandonment, which could cause death. Now He looks like a happy well adjusted good dog. I am grateful for Him. hopefully He shall forget His horrid past being left all alone. :(

It's no easy thing to choose to act, to try to help an animal (human or otherwise. When you make that choice, it's a long-term commitment with no option for failure. You accept responsibility for a life, there is no room for error, and you cannot backout. So I can understand most peoples hesitation to try. But when you do, it's life-changingly rewarding. Just do it.

I have two boys Bear and Harley, they are my life, I love them so much but they are aging like Papa I’m now 70 and they are 11 yrs old now, I can’t imagine what life will be like when they are called to heaven for they are my children. Please always be kind to animals they have souls and feelings

I honestly pray for these creatures everyday. There’s so many out there suffering and I wish I could change that and if I had the money and power to do so, I would. There is nothing in this world that can convince me that any animal deserve to suffer.

Thank you for saving him and getting him to a vet I'm willing to bet the people who abandoned the dog threw him into the water which is probably why he was afraid of the water the way he bonded with you, you should adopt him!

0: 20 the way he cried, was so very painful to hear. I know there are still a lot of animals that have been abandoned in the forest or anywhere else but have yet to be discovered.
