Man and Praying Mantis Become Best Friends Soulmates there was a time when a giant mantis went in my room, belive me it was so big and i screamed. it was terrifying, i know people will say how its just an insect, but belive me it was big asf, he was on a wall, climbing a wall, he was close on reaching a spot where i could not touch him, in my shock and fear i took a metal stick and hit him many times, even when he was on the ground, he was obviously out powered, after that i got him out, he was injured, very unjured, however he was still able to move (i killed him anyway, because in my over reactions i destroyed something in my room, however these insects have strong stamina, still no diff\r
ergo: when he was on a ground, i took a giant stone and throw it on him, crushing him completly, because my battery got destroyed

I saw a praying mantis on my front deck a while ago. I stroked its head and I swear it leaned into it. Then I went and did a few other things but then came back a while later and it was still there. I put my finger about an inch from its head and the mantis moved its head to touch the tip of my finger. I stroked it a few more minutes then I left and never came across it again.
Of course, more recently I saw a wolf spider in my kitchen sink, maybe about 3/4 the size of a tarantula, and I used half a can of Raid on it.

This man is absolutely gorgeous. I also had a pet mantis and she was so sweet. She had babies and I tried to raise them. But local pet shops didnt have small enough flies or aphids for the babies to catch. Everything they had in stock were big enough to eat the babies. Eventually they all died. But I do know they make greeat pets and are easy to take care of. They truly do learn who you are and remember you. She wouldn't let anyone pick her up besides us and she had a preference towards my fiance over myself

The Mantis is widespread around the world and many are kept as pets. Sadly their lifespans are short. A year at most. That said they are intelligent- they have to be as predators. I have had many caught and kept for a month or two and set free again. Just seeing their motions as they move their heads to watch us lets you know they do have some level of intelligence. So cool.

That is the hardest part about building a relationship with nature. You know at some point you have to say good by. That is what happened when I lost my best friend, my kitty. I put him down before the lung cancer could beat him. That was 2. 5 years ago and my heart still hurts not having him.

This is the same guy that had the pet butterfly for five days! It's amazing that he has had a pet butterfly and a NOW this form of an unusual pet it's just incredible that they know he is kind, generous, and takes care of all creatures big and small. So cute and meaningful!

I found a couple of them outside my house. One was pretty aggressive, putting up it's attack stance, the other was pretty chill was jumping from the plant to my hand, etc. They're pretty cool bugs. I like em because they eat the pests in my yard.

A Mantis KILL IT WITH FIRE!
They're evil bugs! Eating just about anything alive. They're the most sick and twisted insects in the insect world! They're right next to moisquitos for bugs that need to go extinct.

That is so cool That happened to me at 8 years old coming home from school. She stayed with me for 3 days and then flew away from my parent's garden. So sad but won't forget how her head followed every movement.

This shows that you can make friends with any animal, even insects. Some time ago, i've watched a video about a woman became friend with a bee. Everything is possible, nothing is impossible with animals!

That could potentially be up to 3000 baby Praying Mantis.
