To be brutally honest, I would have jumped in that well myself to try to keep the leopard above the water until the rescue team was finally able to show up. I'm 25% Cherokee and have been known to instantly connect with wild animals. I would take my chances if it meant saving an innocent animal.

I love these people. Wether it's a tiny baby street a huge majestic or a ferocious they always save their lives. In America we just them because we're too afraid it's gonna bite someone. Yes I wouldn't trade my country but we could save more animals. Great job by all involved.

I am thrilled to see that the Indian Rescue Team uses natural products for the healing of the leopards wounds. This just proves that there are natural products to Aid in healing. Perhaps the USA medical workers could learn something from this story, butt they won't!

If only the RSPCA were like this. I rang the RSPCA yesterday about an injured swan blocking a path and they said unless it's an emergency or the animal has suffered neglect then call the vet.
It's a wild animal, how the he'll can it suffer neglect.

I didn’t know how Good turmeric was on open wounds until I cut my hand. My roommate is from India and immediately treated me with the spice, and managed to stop the bleeding. I’m glad it can help wounds on any animal!

Wildlife SOS to the rescue once more. but like I have written MANY times in the past, how many animals drown Obviously we don't see those stories. India has got to cover up ALL their open wells!

Bravo, and well done to the wildlife rescue group in India for rescuing both leopards, (not sure if it was the the same one that was trapped in the well)and transport them away from thr villages.

I agree. I'm advocating for more rescue, more human interactions on leopards, snow cats, Bob cats, cougars, featuring more wildlife. not the domesticated cats.
