After growing up with a basset hound, in my early 20s my roommate and I found a feral tuxedo cat living under our house. We tried to tame him. Once inside he would tear open the bag of cat food just to piss us off. He would hide behind a plant or the sofa and pounce, claws out. He definitely needed intensive training but who knew He ran away. I swore off cats. Now, 50 years later, I became an accidental tuxedo cat owner again. This one had a previous owner. It's been a mutual training period for both of us. Now we're used to our routines -- she's mine and I'm hers.

I never really liked cats. Then I met a woman who had cats. The first time I visited her house this little old lady cat named pumpkin decided I was her best friend. As soon as I sat down she jumped into my lap and was like you sir have now become my permanent bed. If I was sitting she was on my lap. She passed away last year and I cried over that cat like a baby.

Cats very much do love their people, just the same as dogs do. I don't understand where it ever came from that a lot of people thought they didn't, they must not have been cat owners, or were people that didn't know how to treat cats or something. They sometimes show it differently, and sometimes a lot the same, but they definitely love their people a lot.

Please stop using click bait titles for videos Dodo. Do better. There was no cat stuck in any tire at any point in time. It was just a scared cat simply resting on top of the rear suspension of a vehicle and nothing more. That's not stuck by any means. Don't do that. It just makes people not want to watch your videos because the title is inaccurate.

We went to the shelter to find a cat. While walking past the cages, one kitten stuck her paw out through the cage and tapped me on the leg. She chose me! We named her Pita, for pain in the ass, because she kept us up all that first night. I had to put her down last year. She was 18. I'm crying as I write this.
