In spite of 'Bubby's' fate, he was loved, not once, but twice; no animal should suffer the inexactitudes that life throws upon all creatures in one form or another - so pleased that he was given a loving companion until he shuffled off the mortal coil; thank you, Sarah, for giving this little cat a happier existence!

This story is everything. Am a stray cat rescuer’ as well. I just love cats. Dogs. And all animals. I have a stray cat in my home now. He’s a gentle giant. If I could I would rescue every cat or dog on the street. But thanks for sharing this story. It definitely did my heart well.

This made me cry, not because I was sad for Bubby - he is going to be ok, that is assured - but because hearing that there are people out there who are willing to open their heart for another in need gives me so much hope. & assures there are more of us out there.

just lacking some detail: i suggest, bubby was neutered before becoming an indoor cat - or was he already at younger age while living in a household still

His facial expression actually changed after he was brought in for good. his eyes were so sad before, but now they're sparkling with life and love.
