i grew up around farmers and older folks, they do tend to have a lack of empathy due to the nature of their jobs, its best not to get attached but common sense says, dont let/leave kittens outside if forecast is inclement weather unless you want it to go missing\r
you can tell in the photo that the man is holding the cat by the scruff & belly, which is 100% a farmer thing to do- but the cat looks really uneasy
im glad the kitten found its way to this man bc it clearly will have a better quality of life away from its former home if you even want to call it that

Ive grown up with cat's had at least 1 at all points in my life, and i loved them all. I miss my first tho. Found him climbing on the back screen door, as a little jet black kitten. No mom or siblings in sight, and think she was hideing under the porch. She was the best and so smart. She got io enjoy the farm and inside. She would sit in the window to see me get on and off the bus, watch TV with us at night, take care of me when i was sick, and just the best mama. She lived a very long life and spots of her jet black fur turned grey before the end.

I lost my best buddy a few weeks a ago i know im getting another kitty but 3 days thats kind of fast to replace a kitten you loved and why was a kitten out in a -20 degrees snow storm. That kitten would of never been let out by itself if i owned him

I wonder why he didn't put the kitten inside his coat instead of on his back. The kitten was freezing. I don't think the kitten wanted to walk; it was just to hard hanging on when on his shoulders.

How do people find these gorgeous, elegant looking cats I have 6 rescues. well, several of them just showed up at my house. and I love them, but they look like they come from a dumpster.
