It Took Hours To Warm Up This Pittie Found In The Freezing Cold

People use hairdryers to warm up a pittie who was found frozen outside watch the moment he finally wags his little tail to let them know he's going to be just fine Every single animal in this world deserves to be warm, safe, fed, and loved with our entire soul.
That’s how I love my babies. My lab pit mix loves carrots. If I take one of her carrots, even when she has one, she’ll give me a look and she ends up with both carrots.
I put a dual heated blanket on the bed so they wouldn’t get cold. They take up 95% of the full bed and there’s my dog & 2 cats.
I pretend to run things and I’m perfectly happy in my delusion.

I sort of digress, but this reminded me of a story a friend once told about being in the military. He was part of a rescue mission. The guys they rescued were suffering from hypothermia. According to my friend, the best way to warm the body back to normal is by having two totally nekkid personnel get into a sleeping bag with those being rescued. Also totally nekkid.
Moral of the story, if your dog is cold, get nekkid and snuggle with them.

If you put a blanket in the dryer it's nice and toasty warm. Also I have this I think it'd called bath buddy or back. buddy, that I put in the microwave and you can use it for cramps or back pain, but it's also a way to keep body parts warm if you have it near you. Or there's always a heated blanket you can plug in. .Just some tips for warming up a dog/cat/pet or person.

I am always worried that the adoptive parents aren’t worthy of the dog they adopt because you read so many stories that they don’t go well. You can understand people’s caution about pouring out their gratitude and love for these people until they actually earn it. I hope this little pup’s experience with his new family is a good one

Our laws are not severe enough to prevent animal cruelty. A hefty prison sentence and monetary punishment.
It’s heartbreaking to see any animal neglected. Late at night on TV those animal rescue shows can make me have nightmares, not to mention an easy donation from me.

If for any reason the new family can't keep him I will give him a forever home, Amazing work, love & compassion from the Vet team, thank you for all the good things you do and the things that you do that we wish we could do, from the bottom of my heart you guys are Superstars

Thank you, everyone. Although I am an old cat lady, I love all animals, speak out against neglect and cruelty, and do what I can, usually just donate a bit from my pension. All animals deserve a life of kindness, and that includes us human animals. Be kind.

This broke my heart, again! We think we are evolved, but we are not. Too much technology, and so much less interest for what's happening around us. Too many animals in need, very few people with kind hearts. Thank you for doing what you do!

There not my favourite breed but this is absolutely discusting how could people be so horrible and abandon a poor dog if you can't look after a dog you shouldn't own one it's very sad I hope the dog finds a caring home and real love

Are those special blankets Otherwise it would have very much helped for someone to lie down with the dog and put a blanket over both of them, so the pup could get some body heat. I would have volunteered in a heartbeat.

Those pink bunny slippers! Just the thing for a vicious pit bull. He’s a sweetheart and he’s so responsive to affection. I hope the people who dumped him starving in the cold don’t have children under their control.

I'm so glad they found him and were able to revive and heal him. The loving care he got (can we talk about the bunny booties) was 100% what saved him and allowed him to find his permanent home. Good job all around!

His story reminded me of Lazarus, featured here on The Dodo. He too was found almost frozen on the street and miraculously brought back to life by one dedicated family reunion. I hope they are all doing well.

What a sweet gentle and resilient dog. I can't believe someone could treat him so cruely. Sometimes I think we humans don't deserve dogs. They should be treated as gifts from God.
That is what they are.

Wow, it took a long time for him to come around after his ordeal, if not for the kindness of the vets that worked on him there is no doubt he would not have made it, thank you for saving him.
reply

It is amazing that he revived, and when they placed him on the bedding on the floor, his tail was wagging; very moving scene. Unbelievable resilience. Kudos to the fantastic rescue team!

Love the results. Awesome!
But also have a great deal of anger. Someone deserves jail time, since we cannot put people in freezing situations without food or hope.
Lots of anger.

I guess this fellow was ready to give up on life but then got saved by kind people who revived him and helped him find a forever home, I hope he is happy with his new family
