Swollen Stray Dog Transforms Into The Happiest Little Bunny I love animals, but honestly, this made me sad for reasons other than what most expressed in the comments here within this video. Yes, what happened to Bunny that caused her life-threatening injuries is heartbreaking and negligent. With that understood, I genuinely want to know: upon discovering her in that state, was aiding in that way the best option
Dogs/k-9s of all kinds are notorious for fighting hard to stay in this world, even when faced with severe and unfathomable suffering. For example, when I was young, I found a puppy on the street (similar to Bunny) that was clinging to life. After asking a neighbor to look at it (they were a veterinarian) they saw that the babe was actively dying (insects had infested the puppys physical body): the little one ended up passing on naturally a little after the vet examed it where it lay. All of that to say, our pups fight hard to put on brave faces to keep us smiling and to share love and growth with us, as well as when asking for help in situations like these. Since we humans are responsible for the domestication of dogs and other animals, it is our job to understand what it means to prolong life (especially since we do this for ourself and the persons -including animals- that we care about everyday.
Do we know if Bunny is still feeling pain (fantom or otherwise) from having both her hind legs amputated Is she getting any UTIs or other infections from dragging her hindquarters around on contaminated surfaces when she is not in her wheelchair Is she able to defecate/urinate and clean herself properly without having to rely on human aid I know Bunny is a fighter (that is clear to see, however, in cases like these, what do we base our initial decisions on: personal feelings based on having/taking pity for her and the circumstances she was left in, or the longevity and quality of her life Thoughts
Though I may not respond I would like to understand more about the decisions we make as human beings for our dear friends than ofen times cannot make their own decisions.

Great dog journey you guys went through, before I left for college me and my brother stumbled upon 3 puppies that were abandoned and skinny and cold so we carried them all the way home and 3 years later they become the happiest dogs when we come back for a visit always wagging their tail super fast, man I love those dogs, best ones we’ve ever had.

OMG! I also have a rescue dog from Ensenada who was hit by a car. His name is Guapo, which means handsome in spanish. He was the happiest dog when my friends picked him up on the side of the road. He didn't mind having both his rear legs broken, he was just thrilled that he wasn't abandoned, and has been the happiest dog since.

Bunny's Benz - That's awesome. I've never seen a dog THAT in need before, looking for help. She found some amazingly kind people to love her. Obviously a spinal injury but her face was very swollen. I was pleased the latter was resolved quickly. What had happened to her face Great save.

I was expecting to see a dog morph into a rabbit. This was SO much better. What an incredible act of love. It's amazing seeing Bunny go from being hours away from death to the happiest dog in the world. I hope she spends every second of her life feeling that love.

I didn't realize until about 2 or 3 minutes in that they had to amputate her legs. I was like Has she not yet recovered, and then I saw the side view shot of her at the dealership and was. oh.

In a world that is so full of suffering, hellish pain, and Evil, this was just lovely to watch and experience her joy and her rescuers' happiness as well

Dogs makes us so happy. because we make them so happy! We're matches made in heaven.
So glad you guys saved her life, and she seems so grateful.

Which country did they find her in
The woman who said she had been hit by a car must have been witness to her suffering but did nothing to help her.

I hate these monsters, we bread these amazing animals to be mans best friend, and some people cam hurt them without feeling a thing.
reply

Oh my heart exploded when I saw that baby in the beginning. There is hope for humanity, and it is in the love for other living things.
reply

What dropped me was that she had been injured and abandoned and still all she wanted to do was love others. We don’t deserve dogs.
