Our first cat used to do exactly this when we were working, or watching a movie or getting ready for bed. He left us 4 years ago - passed on our bed in peace, after a long struggle with FIV. I can still feel him snuggling up to me even today. They take a piece of your heart along with them over the rainbow bridge. I’m so happy he took a piece of mine. Let’s learn to respect and be compassionate to all animals. to all.

I told him my cat wasn't very friendly. Rene', this kitty, sat on the floor looking up at my husband on the couch in an adoring stare. She fell in love with him. I figured he was a keeper. Do you know how LUCKY YOU ARE! Yes cats are all about routine. Lola knows when it's time to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. The way you interact with him like a cat is a big part of why he's so affectionate I'd LOVE to have him as my companion. My Lola isn't affectionate AT ALL. I've had her since birth, she just turned 17 and only recently has started sleeping in my bed by my pillow

yep, some cats are more affectionate than others. i had one before who loved to sit on my shoulder. she would curl up and take naps on clothes that had my scent on them, like my jacket. and yes, she insited on sleeping with me. if my door was closed she would cry her head off until i let her in.

My cats are very affectionate too, I rescued both from dangerous circumstances from the street and they're always grateful for everything. If I have a rough time they'll go right up to me and snuggle, best buddies ever

If you treat your cat right, that's what it will do in return, but sometimes that will take awhile. My cat was feral when I got her and it took almost 7 years for her start cuddling.
