This Dog Stared At The Wall For Hours Until Finally Realized He Was Home Faith Restored

I have a beagle my own, she is so absolutely social but is abnormally scared of loud noises (it got better after 4 years) because some ignorant and crazy people started a firework on our walk, right when we passed them. They saw us and they didnt care. it was almost as if they did it on purpose. And since that day she was so abnormally scared of noises and lanterns because she thought lanterns did that. Now, after 4 years and we live (which I didnt knew when we moved here) right beside a shooting range inside a wood (scary place, I stumbled on it by accident and it looked post apocalyptic) and if there are no shootings, now and then drummers walk through our streets. dont ask me why. She is still scared, but less than before. And she is playing like him too, she wants me to hunt her through the garden. Sometimes she even throws stuff at me just that I start running after her. love this little being, which can be abnormally annoying with her whining to get attention (she is a princess, to the moon and back. and beyond.

Almost a year ago we got a Yellow Lab / Huskey mix, he had been in I believe three different homes before us. Papi was scared, the poor guy didn't even know how to play. Now today, he will crawl under the covers when I go to bed, and he will curl up next to me. My wife goes to bed several hours before me and he will sleep with her, but when I come to bed he's right there. We got him to be a service animal for me to help with my PTSD, before we could do that, we had to help him. Now he's right there with me and he's getting over chewing the bed covers and soon will start training with him.

Seeing him so sad and scared was so sad and depressing. Currently at the 0: 47 mark. Looking forward to when (hopefully) he feels comfortable.

Dogs don't like to make eye contact regardless. Try it out on any dog, they'll either shift their gaze if they feel you're the dominant one, or they'll be provoked to attack you.
