Well done for being so patient and giving the poor dog the time he needed to trust you but it took another dog to show him he could love and trust a human again. Makes you wonder what his previous humans had done to him in the past for him to be so scared until you got the other dog.
I thank you for persevering for many many months with him. I think a lot of people would have given up thinking this dog is beyond help BUT HE WASN’T. He just needed the help from another dog.

It was meant to be, i rescued a brindle pitbull when he was 3 months old, had him for 14 and half years, he was the happiest pitty loved walks, he loved cats kittens, and i got him a brother to pkay with a german rottweiller they were the best friends, and my pitty loved dandelions, never once was he vicious, i believe its how u looj after ur dog and train them to me i never treated him like a dog i considered him my baby.

The first thing my rescue dog did when I went to see him for the first time at the rescue facility was bite me. It was a little bite and he has bit me three times since. It has been over three years now and I can honestly say that I am so in love with my Sam I don't even like to sleep without him. It takes time for the process of trust to happen but it is well worth it. Adopting an animal is the only way to go!

That's a beautiful story, it's just so sad that people do these things to these animals. Humans domesticated dogs so we have a responsibility to take care of them and all a dog wants from us is love and attention, that's all they ask and in return they will give u a love that, unless you have a dog that loves u, u will never experience, Unconditional love and it's a pure & beautiful thing.

Whatever you do, don't do anything that was done to him that caused his initial condition! If you do, he will trigger and kill you! Now that he is happy, he will do anything it takes not to go back. Even kill his master. On a different note, I've been thinking about getting me an alligator snapping turtle from Mississippi to train not to bite my finger when I stick it in his mouth.

I'm in pain. I was taking care of 8 stray dogs. I sent 3 of them to a shelter in jagathgirigutta Hyderabad telangana which is run in collaboration with doctor dog and a ngo and a municipality. They killed 2 of my stray dogs and say one of them ran away and the shelter. I'm searching him since two days. I am unable to come out of the pain of losing my stray dog. God plz help me

Sad. Part of the reason why I ended up keeping the pit that we found in a park when it followed us home. Took it to the local shelter. Nobody claimed it so I adopted it. Black, male, pit. not good odds of getting adopted. Looks like a big scary dog but. yeah he's actually a giant chicken. But that's ok, 10/10 would do again.

Immagine, such sweet creatures on the death row. And those responsible with putting criminals behind bars, let them go sometimes after serving a joke in prison, so they could kill again. And such sweet, innocent babies are simply killed.

This story about Michael Vick being a changed man makes me sick. He fought dogs for FUN. I am sorry but that is character defining. He may have learned but he does not feel it. People who do this are broken, permanently.
