The woman makes a great point about keeping focused on your priorities. She wanted what was best for the dog, and what was best for the dog was being kind to the man. She didn’t let her ego take over and say all of the things I’m sure she wanted to say. She’ll never have the satisfaction of putting the man in his place, but that lost satisfaction will be replaced with something a million times more important - the well being of that dog.

I believe that the reason the dogs were so loving is because that man had all the love to give and not a lot of money or resources to care for them it bothered him you could tell. I have no ill will towards him and Im sorry he lost his dogs but theyre much better off now. Its also incredible that they gave him some money thats what i would've done.

He's not a bad person, he still messed up immensely and he did so at the expense of the dogs

I hope this man felt better about himself as a person after doing the right thing. He deserves good things in life. I also hope he knows that his humility and strength with letting them go was the most loving thing he could do for them. Because of that, he brought so much joy to their new families. This has me in tears!

I am SO impressed by the woman's ability to work with kindness and judgement free compassion, and she won that man over. I can't help but believe he KNEW his dogs deserved so much better than he could provide. I hope and pray he doesn't get another dog. Thank you to this woman for saving these sweet pups lives.

Thank you, sir, for letting them go. You have a special place in heaven. Thanks to the rescuers, you are awesome. This is why it is SO important to educate all people of the resources that they have to help these defenseless animals. We don't live in a jungle.

You can see he treated them with kindness. They got love, he just couldn’t give them everything. He was very respectful and kind. Sometimes you need to ask for help. There are resources but not everyone has access to those!

I recently negotiated the surrender of a neglected puppy in my neighborhood. Kindess is key. Ultimately, if you want to help the dog, you have to proceed with patience and care! What a wonderful success story here!

I hate to see dogs on chains!
Specially small dogs with big chains around their necks! They can hardly move; I don’t think there’s an excuse for that!
To submit animals to such treatment is disgusting!

According to the dodo, keeping a dog starved and chained for years is 'faith restored'. Simply ignore thousands of tortured animals (or people) for that one that was saved and all is well in the world. Unbelievable
