I had a larger South American Red tailed Boa, who was quite friendly, and even ate from my hand; the only bad thing about him was the terrible odor of their No. 2's (man, it's bad. The only time he was testy was when he was shedding; they like to be left alone during that process, and it's good to just mist them with water a few times daily to help their skin loosen.

I love snakes always have always will, but also respect them and know to stay away when told to. This snakes is just adorable and so sweet, my first time seeing a snake in person was when a classmates dad showed one off as a show and tell I was 10 we were asked if we wanted to touch I didn’t hesitate.

By the way her sensory pits are specifically heat sensing pits. They actually allow snakes to see heat. I don't know exactly how it works but it's linked to their vision so they're able to basically see in infrared.

I have a Ball Python myself and swar hes part cat lol! He likes to knock stuff off tables too. Fun fact: when a snake yawns, its not tired, its actually preparing himself for his/her next meal by readjusting its jaw.
