Baby Starling Chooses His Rescuer As His Dad Little But Fierce Im watching this as i sit with my baby starling rescue, Lil John, tucked in the nape of my neck sleeping. He had his first few flights of longer than 2 feet today so were very proud. Hes starting to get an attitude with me when trying to move him from off the top of my head or off the keys of my keyboard.
He poops everywhere and all the time. You think youre catching on to the signs so you can place a paper towel under neath to catch it but then nope, he throws me a curve ball.
I never knew just how much and how quickly i would grow to love and adore him, but just like that, he has my heart.
My dogs who i love with all my heart, are feeling the pangs of jealousy and thats hard to see. But, we will all adjust and love one another as if wed always been a family.
Ohh, i fed Lil John some icecream and. he loved it!

We found a baby Starling yesterday morning. He has some feathers. His nest is too high up on our two story house so putting him back in the nest is out. We bought a cage yesterday and we are feeding him a supplement and some worms retrieved from the garden. We were amazed to find him alive this morning. Your video gives me a path to follow in introducing him to the outdoors and hopefully his freedom in a few weeks.

That's a professional animal caretaker. Don't try to do this at home, people, always put the bird back on the nest if possible. The bond the bird develops with the hand that feeds it is cute, but their chances of survival also decrease drastically without their parents.

Sterling’s are a pain in the ass invasive Species in the US don’t know why you would save one. My family used tk have chicken coops and they would fill up the coops and eat the the chicken food. What we did was kill everyone we could

I also rescued two bird 2 months ago that were almost killed in the middle of the road. Now we let them outside but they don't go too far before flying back onto my dad's head lol

What a wonderful man you are, anyone who is as caring and helps like you do, well I wish there were more people like you, I hope good things and happiness comes your way!

. just screaming at the food to come to me. It's either my eating disorder or being a millennial either way I relate with this bird
reply

1: 54 yes. Teach him how to poop on your car is a good thing. Never know when you need to send him to poop at your command

reply

It says Chooses rescuer as his day but that's just called imprinting. Baby animals imprint onto their caretakers.

Nice story. But he never learned to speak human talk like so many starlings on these other videos, huh

I had a baby starling His parents left him in a chimney but now hes fully Bird from a slimy little bird
reply

I wonder how a bird reared by humans learns about the dangers of the wild - maybe from the other birds.
reply

He doesn't venture far, and when he does fly far.
Well that made sense. It can't be both.

Bird rehabber here. This is NOT a baby starling. It’s a grackle.

I'd say that bird would be the smartest one out of his flock

Wow! That bird is smarter than his surrogate idiot dad!
