2 weeks later i noticed his brother, emaciated, and blind with horrific eye infections biting garbage wraps in search of food.
I ended up adopting the blind kitten as well, and even though blind, he can still navigate through home well, and memorize where the food and litter box is, Awesome cat

I just rescued a kitten his eyes looked exactly like these after two weeks of medicine and he's also to small for surgery and will most likely loose his better eye on the next vet visit but I'm surprised at what he can do, if you couldn't tell his eyes were damaged you wouldn't know he's blind. Your cat is named Hammy and mine is Sammy.

STOP ABANDONNING THEM JUST CAUSE THEY CANT SEE, OMG! You can see the fact that these cats act just like any other cats so abandonning a cat for their blindness (well, for anything tbh-) is not an excuse whatsoever.

Not to say they srnt super cute. Because they are. But somthing about the sealed shut eyes unnerves me.
Its the same feeling i got when my friends cat had some canser tissue removed from her belly and head. For some reason the seeing the shaved belly and head with the stitches unnerved me.

This was very encouraging. My wife and I took in a stray in 2021 that turned out to be deaf. It's amazing how much animals can overcome disabilities. Nicole is a good person for raising George and Hamilton. And she seems well rewarded for her efforts.

My Samoyed got glaucoma when she was 11 and that ALWAYS leads to blindness. I spent a small fortune to keep her eyesight for as long as possible. I was dreading the day she was going to go blind, but when she finally did, it wasn't a big deal.

Hard to hear what the Cats were doing cuz the speaker was super loud. The music too. Not much of a point talking about what the Cats do when none of it could be heard. It would've been cool to listen to tho

They are so precious! there are several kittens who lost eyes, limbs etc. due to severe owner neglect thank you to those who provide a home and a chance at a better life for these kittens!

we also rehabed a cat that had to loose both eyes as a kitten, hes a big boy now and blows my mind how well he manages. I really wouldn't call him any different than regular cat.

How can you afford 3 surgeries i live in Illinois and they charged $2300 just to take out one tooth and not one of the small ones it was a feline
