Could you imagine if the theory about Krabs not having a formula just to keep plankton busy were true? Thats some anime twist shit. Guy doesnt want his old buddy to focus on the business because hes afraid hell outdo him somehow.
Then again, Krabs is one of the most confident characters ever animated, and thats saying something when hes in a show about the most positive childrens character since Barney. That along with his greed probably has him sleeping well enough at night knowing that hes still monopolized the townspeople into eating there. Did Weenie Huts close or do they just not show other restaurants? Cuz theyve definitely gotten food from other places.
