Yeah these tips aren't real. A person will do all of these just because they think you don't believe them, because it causes stress and makes you uncomfortable to have someone think your lying. Someone with social anxiety will do all of these things all of the time. Someone who has been abused and just doesn't like confrontations will also acted stressed, because of fear of an unknown reaction no matter what. People with social or mental disorders will act this way while talking to another person. This is not a real way to tell if someone is lying, because you know what else will cause a lot of these same stress reactions attraction. This video makes the wrongful assumption that stress related body language means a person is lying, but all it really means is that they are stressed.

Excessive hand gestures. cultural or a personality trait. For example, are most Italians liars? They are very expressive with their hands when they speak, generally; it's a cultural thing.
Seems like your 5 ways to spot a liar just turned into zero ways to spot a liar. And I agree with the people below that point out that people with autism, social anxiety, shyness, Illnesses that can cause so-called liar tells (like sweating, trust issues, etc, display these traits and it has nothing to do with whether or not they're liars.

The pupils dilate when someone sees something they like. They constrict when they something they don't like. I've won many bluffs (and correctly folded many strong hands) using this. It's very reliable. I'm just not sure how dilated pupils would mean someone is lying, though. Seems backwards.

Tbh this isn't fool proof some people naturally act like this. Also if people stress their voices or don't blink they could simply be stressing the truth
