Um Pocahontas! The girl wasnt looking for love, if anything she was trying to get out of an arranged marriage to someone she knew shed never be truly happy with. She listened with her heart and her dreams showed something big and beautiful was about to happen. She saw the good in someone so different and almost killed her at their first encounter, but listened to her heart telling her to trust him. She even taught him a huge and valuable lesson about the true beauty of nature and in the smaller things, and that life is precious, but also being different isnt wrong or a bad thing and her way of life was just fine the way it was. In a way If I Never Knew You is born from Colors of the Wind because it was his turn to show how wrong she was about never knowing each other. He actually thanked her for saving him from the savage within. When she saved his life, her actions werent purely about her love for him, but trying to protect both her and his people, helping her father understand hatred and war wound bring nothing but destruction. And in the end, she made a heartbreaking but mature decision, she wanted so badly to be and go with him, but she understood how much her people needed her. And when he said he wasnt leaving her, she helped him to do the right thing by letting each other go, no matter how much it hurt both of them. She helped him understand she wanted him to live more than saying with her knowing his wound unfortunately would kill him eventually. And in the very last scene, she actually helped get the ship going through her unofficial wind bending powers, but gave him one last anna, showing even if this was truly the very last time theyd ever see/interact with each other ever again, their love will burn on forever and someday if not in this life theyd be together forever

Sure belle is not perfect, she fell in love with her aggresive captor, but what about her literally shoving away a complete narcissist, who only wanted her for her beauty, defending her father for being a genius from the whole village from the start, and manage to look past that threatening beast to look at his true self?
If we look at it that way, sure, how abt we talk abt elsa literally running away from her problems only to left problems for other people? Sure sHe diDnT knOw, but then when her sister came to help she literally pushes her away and just wanted to keep being free.
And i just don't agree on cinderella placing lower than snow white. Sure they share the same 'kindness' trait. But for cinderella she was literally stuck on being abused by her step family, and mind you, they don't get 'help' in those times. Sure she can escape but for all we know she could potentially die out there knowing she couldn't really fight for herself.
For snow white, she escaped her evil mother and stumbled upon a shelter that happens to be owned by dwarfs and the first thing she does was to clean. .sure. And great way to teach your kids to accept random stranger's apple that actually kills you. From this moment on she just had to wait for her prince to come save her. I mean, what can you do when you're dead?

I overly think that disney Princesses are worse role models than Barbie, princesses like Jasmine or Rapunzel are praised for their attitudes but Rapunzel would stay in the towel if Eugene wouldn't come to her and Jasmine beside running away once waits for etheir Alladyn or Jafar come up to her, if Ursula's pets wouldn't come for Ariel she would probably still be looking at human from afar and collecting their junk, when it comes to Pocahontas she basically does what she does out of love just like Ariel. Practically all 4 of them wouldn't have a movie if man wouldn't came in their lives
Princesses that I actually think are good are Mualn(of course) Anna, Tiana, Merida and Moana and Belle is meh.
I won't say anything about other princesses since problems with them are obvious.
Reason why I like Barbie movies is most of them is like Mulan, plot of the movie comes out of something like someone attacking or needing to save someone like in Fairytopia, Magic of the Pegasus, Memaidia, 12 dancing princesses etc.

Honestly I dont think Elsa is a good role model because when she locks herself up Im her room and runs away from arendale she is basically teaching kids it ok to run away from your problems.
And in my opinion mulan is the best role model because like merida her parents wanted her to get married but she also goes against the laws in her country to save her father and fight in the army I mean she shows that its not only boys and men who can fight hard

Cinderella is actually pretty great! She didnt wait for the fairy godmother or the prince to save her. she just needed a little help to escape. The fairy godmother is the equivalent of a counsellor.
Also the prince didnt want the ball, it was the king who organized everything! Plus he is a not really a character but rather a symbol that good triumphs over evil and good gets rewarded with a happy life.

I think Esmarelda is the no. 1 great roll model she is brave, independent, kind and also doesn't judge people by their outer looks she believes in inner beauty just like she saw in Quasimodo and we need these kind of roll models for kids to teach them to see a person 's inner beauty and not a prince charming who just comes in a sudden

Excuse me I really want to tell that you should of course You need to add Mulan she is the first one to be in the list of the role models because Mulan saved China and her father it's the perfect one and she teaches us to trust ourself and to don't depend on other people i have to depend on myself if you want to do anything.

Snow White isnt telling girls to be a typical house wife. in fact the reason she cleaned the house was because she wanted something from the Dwarves and she knew she had to earn her keep, she couldnt just barge in and live with the Dwarves for free.
