I have read the books, listened to the audio books a million times, watched all the bbc movies, started a Narnia Club as an 8 year old, and went crazy over everything Narnia! I dont think the deferences between the movie casting and the original character descriptions were that deferent. The dwarves were portrayed almost perfectly. The Pevensie children-aside from some hair colour deferences- were portrayed perfectly. The Witch aside from hair colour was portrayed perfectly. The only Id say they did wrong was Prince Caspian(although the actor was extremely handsome and the personality was pretty accurate) the fact that hes dark when Telmerines were very clearly described as light and fair. just kinda weird. Other then that the rest of the cast was great! Loved the movies!

SO many mispronunciations. I actually thought that the film hit most appearances pretty well. Skandar and Georgie actually looked similar and all four were believable as siblings. Some of the examples that they gave based only on illustrations in the books were a little thin. I have all my old Narnia books from childhood that used the original illustrations and some of those those changed from book to book. Even some of the main characters had dark hair in some pictures and fair in others.

i love these movies so much. So disappointed to heard that netflix will recast these wonderful casts. i'll complain if they really do that shitty idea. And i heard that they'll gonna reboot this franchise with the new actors. Dont make me bad but i hope that netflix adaptations will flop if they reboot this franchise. I just want them to continue the third movie to the silver chair then last battle and do some prequel like boy and his horse and magicians nephew. Stop rebooting netflix! I HOPE THAT NETFLIX ADAPTATION WOULD FLOP.

I think the Mr. Tumnus decision makes sense. Of course I think the book version sounds cooler but it makes sense that Disney might believe his book description could make him look more like a villain. Red basically meant bad guy in Disney back then haha. Plus it would probably make him look kind of how we portray the devil which might make him a little offputting to some kids. I'm sure we would have still loved him but I'm not mad at the change. I think either depiction works just fine.

I actually really liked the outfit for Father Christmas in the most recent film. It really seems to fit the mood better and signify the struggle it had been to return to Narnia. Besides, I think that Narnia's Father Christmas should have his own look. (as much as I love the long red garment that our Father Christmas wears)

For me the most shcock is big change of Repichiep who you forgot. But new version of him look is nice too and I love all this charakters with the diffrenceses or not I just love this World, characters and I so sad it could egsist only in the books or films but even films not end of adapted! Why!

I don't mind whether they look exactly like their counterparts in the book. I just want the movie production finish the franchise.
Chronicles of Narnia isn't just a part of my childhood. It is my childhood and I would really love to see this movie in the big screen once more.

Does it freeking really matter. Its how they acted that was important. For anyone who didnt read the books they hired 4 kids that actually looked like they could be siblings. So frankly no one really cares it they werent perfect to the book.

Lewis didnt really care what any of them looked like, which is why there is so little description. The one that was most crazy for me reading the book, though, was that in the illustrations Aslan walked on two legs.
