I remember how much I hated the show after the pilot. Couldn't stand Melissa Benoist as goofy supergirl, I thought they were out of their freaking minds. And the show's 'The devil wears prada' vibe didn't help either. Now it's one of my favorite shows. She still plays the character a bit on the goofy side at times but that doesn't matter anymore. I can't picture anyone else but Melissa playing as the pivotal role. Kudos to CW and writers. What I'm a bit scared now is Supergirl's new suite in the upcoming season. It looks like Red daughter's. I hope they change Flash's costume because as it stands, it's ridiculous.

Very cute and happy girl. But bad choice song to win the role. Welcome to the jungle by guns n roses or cherry bomb by the runaways or I wanna rock /we are not gonna take it anymore by twisted sister are better choice songs.
Those rapper hip hopper types would have violate her, I lived in the projects for many years/nycha, the rockers wouldnt!

Why didnt they mention the fact the Chyler Leigh was a major character on Greys Anatomy? I mean, they mentioned the fact that Melissa was on Glee, but Chyler was on Greys for four seasons and was a well-loved character who died tragically. When it comes to TV shows and movies, I rarely cry, but the death of Chylers character hit me hard.

1: 47 to 2: 00 couldve been cut out. :) why she looks so familiar is because she was on Glee.
Aside from that I dont see how they were going to be canceledI think because it was on CBS and their evil high standardsthats the only reason. Season 1 was my favorite season.

besides Smallville Supergirl is my favorite CW Show. I will be really disappointed if the show gets canceled because I'm tired of all my favorite shows can canceled. also I'm still waiting for Supergirl TV show pop figures.

The real fact came to light when we now know that she divorced Blake because he abused her multiple times, not Cos if she moved to Canada for filming.

the cw picks up the series and therefore moves to vancouver. well that makes sense since all cw shows (as far as i know) are filmed in vancouver
