Behind The Marvel Magic That Made FATWS Really Looks Like. Without CGI, VFX, And All The Magic! Weve gotten our second Marvel series dose of the year and lets just say were loving it, especially as we learn more about the magic that went into making the series. First of all, the whole production was halted for months due to the pandemic striking. They had to sort out international travel and manage large numbers of people to shoot while following all the proper protocols to keep everyone safe. This also literally involved convincing the Prague government to let a large American film crew over to shoot! Any guesses how much CGI was used? Well for the fierce Wakandan battle, its pretty shocking to know that there was very little used and pretty much all the footage we see is the actual actors. They are incredible. There was a different sequence that incorporated much more CGI and VFX the highflying Falcon soaring through the skies. That being said, youll be shocked to know that a lot of what we see IS real including those wingsuit fliers. We have Anthony Mackies actual body appearing as the team hooked him up to wires and filmed him flying so they could incorporate as much of that footage as possible. Those wingsuit fliers also had headcams on to capture mindblowing footage! Did you know that the fall Captain America had brought him from Atlanta to Prague? There were loads of shots taken in different places and in different ways to build that fascinating sequence. How about Madripoor? Where did the inspirations for this lawless city come from? Then of course, is the design of the different Captain America suits. All of it came together for a pretty incredible show, so lets dive into all the Marvel magic!

Seamless? Not quite. The compositing on the truck fight DEFINITELY could have used a few more passes through the renderer.
But i have to tip my hat to them for completing the show following one set back after another, after another! Salute to you!

Better than Wandavision cause it's First 2-3 episodes were pretty slow. In Cap America the first episode in-itself was soo epic with phew-phew-phew right in its beginning.

Wow the truck scenes background was cut so good! They have great VFX to cut the trucks and made it look like it was all one scene.
