In answer to the will there be two of each of them in the past, I suspect not. Five said he had to project his consciousness into an earlier version of his own body (only he used more words, lol, so Im guessing it will be the same for all of them. They dont physically jump back, but project their minds back into their younger bodies.
That would also resurrect Ben, because his consciousness is making the jump through his connection to Klaus.
In the comics, as far as I know, Five was altered by the Commission to never age, and that change stuck when he became a kid again. So hopefully the other six will go back to being adults, but well keep the absolutely amazing Aidan Gallagher. I cant imagine the show without him, hes gold.

I believe that their going back to when they were children if they were going back to the 60s then theyll have to be their older self for Allison to help assassinate JFK. Also when he time jump we did hear a gun shot go off which means that someone did kill JFK which means they already handle the Dallas series because thats why Hazel and Cha Cha was involved in season one they have change so much from the comics especially when vanya slice Allisons neck inside the house in the wood she was suppose to cut her when they were fighting her at the end of white violet they are going back to train her as a child and include her inside the umbrella academy to make it a full team of 7.

My theory is that they all went back to when sir Reginald sent Luther to the Moon and learned how to upgrade their powers from sir Reginald, and I am pretty sure that Ben will come back as a result from time traveling. But anyways, that is why I think that he sent Luther to the Moon, so he won't know the future to make sure it doesn't create a time anomaly.

i believe season two will take place in 1963 texas as volume two of the comic takes place in dallas. If you seen the pictures that fans have took of them filming you can see that this backs up the fact that it may be set in that time line but you never know, we will just need to wait and see if a teaser or a trailer comes out.

am i the only one who felt like Hargreaves had love for vanya. Like he fully cared for her and it looked like he wanted to keep her from destroying the world which would lead to her destroying herself. Also that scene where he gave her is lovers violin like cmon

Does anybody remember Vanyas boyfriend he was born the same day of the umbrella academy boys and girls and he es normal he dint show any powers probably the rest of the babys are normal (just a theory)

im almost certain that they wont be kid versions of themselves because the same actors of season 1 are playing season 2 and the same actors from season 1 are not 13
