Grimmel was too OP! There were no good fight sequences and the end of the movie sucked where they shut out all the dragon's in hiding and kill the fantasy we all loved and connected it to reality which sucked. And the relationship of Hiccup and Toothless which has been shown to be unbreakable during the last 2 movies and the 8 seasons of dragons was totally undermined and broken in an instant just for the sake of showing their individual strengths. Sometimes strength in togetherness works just like in the last two movies. We love a good combo. Secondly, Grimmel was a lousy villian, he didn't challenge Hiccups mind like Viggo neither did he challenge his ideology like Drago Bloodfist. Grimmel was just an OP character which had no goal but to kill all night furries (boaring.
Lastly the New World looked like a total rip off of Avatar! The hidden fortress of the Alpha in part two was much better than the new world.

Honeatly, I dont know how someone can say Drago is a good villain but Grimmel is not. Drago is not in the movie until the second half, he does nothing but stand around and yell and even though he saw that Hiccup was still alive despite the fact he wanted Toothless to kill him, he just goes away and then is later like Youre certainly hard to get rid of. Grimmel always seemed like a much better version of Drago to me despite having similar motivations

I always wonder what would happen if a powerful or smart person used their superior powers for bad purposes, and grimmer was the perfect example. Even before they made the mention of the night fury I always thought of him as having the same smarts and build as hiccup, besides the leg, and it was cool to see what would happen if hiccup became bad

Great villains are what make the story moving and I think that they are the lush of every fabulous story. There are a few stories that I think are amazing just because of the middle characters but this is not one of them. Grimmal was a villain that was scary with out having to look the part. That is the best type villain.

While it's true that it's sad that the HtTYD film franchise come to an end, I believe it's just perfect, and holds many similarities to the ending of the books, plus Grimmel is fantastic villain for the finale, and the perfect dark side of what Hiccup would have become if he went down the dark path!

I just watched the final one and ive been looking alot of vids about httyd lately. 20 years later ill be thinking back to my childhood and this movie is one of them, and i wish my life was like hiccup's

I watched the movie and grimmer is funny but serious but he is also very intelligent like hiccup so they are alike they doubt use there appearance as there advantage they use there mind and think ahead so thats why I think grimmel is a good villain

Not to mention he believed humans were superior to dragons and he got off on hunting them. (In most of fiction this seen as good when compared to various other beings, sometimes with dragons being involved, but the movie presents this as wrong)

It is just poetic. Grimmel is who Hiccup would have become if he had killed toothless. He like Hiccup is skinny, lanky, and uses intelligence rather than brawn, he came upon a night fury as boy as well, but he chose to kill it and never stop.

Isn't that kinda obvious? The villains have always been the weakest part of these (great) movies, Grimmel is the only one that imo feels like a genuine cold-hearted bastard.
