How could that be the case? There is no way that Chip is the son of the Beast and the Enchantress. Think about it- He obviously couldnt have had a kid when he was human, because the Beast was only a kid. And do you really think that after he was cursed, and could have children, that he would just hook up with he Enchantress! I think that its incredibly obvious that Chip is not their kid. Besides, back then it would have been fairly common and easy for people to die of some kind of sickness, since there was no good medical care, especially for servants; servants had it the worst- they would most definitely have been the most exposed to illnesses. So Chips real mom (who would have been a servant, therefore by birth making Chip a servant) mustve died. Of course, I wouldnt know who the dad is or what happened to him, but that is my theory. All in all, the Beast is NOT Chips dad, nor the Enchantress his mom.

Far off places: Belle just moved to the villiage
Sword fights: when Gaston is trying to kill the he has a dagger which is like a tiny sword which is close enough in my opinion
Magic spells: beast being. well the beast
Prince in disguise: once again just beast being beast
In the picture the girl looks like belle, it could also be Aladdin but Disney hadnt made the Disney movie version or Aladdin yet and the picture in the book does not look like jasmine or any other Aladdin character and I mean it would have had to have Been translated from Arabic to french, sleeping beauty is possible but once again it goes back to the picture we see, so its most likely that she is reading her own story before it happens ( and This links back to the theory that she possibly added herself into the story in her imagination and that none of it never happened irl )

But of course Gaston was the hero, he already was the village hero and then he sets off to save the girl literally trapped in a castle with a beast. Sure beast it's a cursed prince but he is a malevolent one! not only he is no better than the enchantress holding Belle's dad prisoner for picking a rose but he also murders many innocent servants on a rage fit, people don't notice because by then the enchanted furniture was no longer moving.
Gaston really would be the hero in any other Disney film.

Hey stop being so cruel and calling someone mad just cuz they believe stuff no one else is does and seems totally different from them and is always daydreaming and keep themselves to themselves of course all those people were cursed and turned to furniture as the confirmed at the beginning of the movie belle and her dad so weren't mad and imagining things that's the villagers own problems for thinking that and just wanting to bully them

The enchantress is actually a fey being. The Fey are toys for disproportionate retribution. A capricious, precocious Fey spellcaster would not think twice about cursing a child over a minor slight. In Fairy tales the Fey have done worse including kidnapping and cursing an infant because her parents named her Fairer than a Fairy

Heres a theory about the Enchantress. She is the Beasts wicked fairy godmother. She cursed an 11 year old kid 4 having common sense stranger-danger wise. Not 2 mention that she was based on a Evil Fairy from the Gabrielle Susanne Barbot de Villeneuve who seduced him.
