I know why they made the three main hyenas female, or at least i can theorize: Female hyenas are the bigger of the genders and usually are the higher ranking, doing most hunts and being the dominant leaders of the clans. Compared to male hyenas who are at the very bottom ranking, who start mediocre and go lower as they grow(Females start mediocre and go higher as they grow) Personally, I like this realistic touch to make the hyenas more similar to the real wild hyenas.

Haven't seen the movie yet But based off of this video it seems that it will hold up to the original better then previous Disney movie remakes and oh my God I don't wanna get started with the shity little mermaid movie that come out soon. I'm almost tempted to get that movie make a video of Me torching it on fire and then sending that video to Disney whoever came up with The changes for the Little mermaid Should go kill themselves

BEYONCE RUINED THIS REMAKE!
Her Southern accent was too strong and took away from Nala's character. Could someone not send her to classes to alter it. They might as well have just renamed Nala and called her Beyonce. It freakin annoyed me. Aaargh! All the other characters were on point but she ruined Nala. She shouldve just stuck to singing on the soundtrack.

Idc if the remake lives to the original or not. Let me tell you now, it wont. No 2 ppl are the same, these movies are being recreated by entirely different team. but guess what? Idc this is my movie! I grew up watching it. Im gonna watch this no matter what!

I saw the Lion King today with my friends and in my opinion it was good I definitely still liked the original better but this was good Seth Rogen was funny as Pumbaa

Visually perhaps as well as voice actors (except for Mufasa's, but it's not different at all. Not by a longshot. It's gonna be the same movie.
