i feel like they will likely do a 4th movie in the series just to show us what happened 2 years later, it makes the most sense to end the franchise with a 4th, bringing back the main 3 and saying that Carlos and Jane are on holiday exploring the world, so that the writers can give homage to the actor and keep his character in the series regardless of him no longer being with us. Also if they did a 4th movie it would be fun to have it center around Mal and Bens weddings that way the cast can end it with the thing thats been hinted at in all 3 movies, as well as give the fans a chance to see hades and Malificent reunite and even a chance to allow Malificent to regain her human form and attempt to cause more problems for mal leading up to the big day. it be a fun way to let fans revisit the franchise, plenty of flashbacks would be included so we would see Cameron in some of those along with being able to see the entire adventure that mal and the crew have been on that brought us to the moment Ben and her say I Do, thats when the series should end with a glimpse of the future mal and ben with kids and checking in on all the crew members showing what happened to them after graduation
