Hello, I noticed something odd that as far as I can tell the internet has not addressed: the charachter from the cartoon version of Beetlejuice Jacques LaLean is a skeleton with a French accent and a thin mustache. My kid was watching a Disney Junior show called Vampirina that had a French accent and thin mustache. Any relation? Does anyone know more about this? Any links are appreciated or if this idea end up being included in a video, please let me know!

I bet it was on purpose because China was in danger and Mulan had the fiery spirit to protect it and her family. Mushu was the perfect candidate to help Mulan since, like her, he was trying to restore his honor as a guardian of the Fah family. The Great Stone Dragon knew all along.

The Great Stone Dragon didn't wake up because after Disney drew it they realized how hard it would be to animate it, so they quickly changed the story to be about Mushu.
