From not being allowed to change their appearance for an entire decade to being prohibited from even suntanning its no wonder some of the cast has described finishing the franchise as freeing. Hey, TheThings fans! Welcome back to another video. From the outside watching Harry Potter actors like Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, and Tom Felton grow up on set seemed like the ultimate dream. However, since the franchise came to an end the cast has been sharing that set life wasnt all it was cut out to be. And a lot of that has to do with the rules on set that they were forced to follow. While fame and fortune may be freeing, the cast was confined between the walls of Warner Brothers Studios and what they deemed was okay for them to do. One actor was even kicked off the entire franchise for not obeying their rules! The question is did these rules hinder the cast from showing the world who they truly were? While a lot of dos and donts of set life were strict there were also some other rules that came out of some pretty hilarious stories and from the kids of the cast just being well kids! Theres no denying that the Harry Potter cast should be counting their blessings when it comes to having the opportunity to be a part of one of the worlds most popular franchises but it clearly wasnt all fun and games. Do you think the pros of working on Harry Potter outweighed the cons? Let us know in the comment section below

To be honest I agree that being young and wanting a life as you grow older is hard especially while on set to a really big and popular movie but I think the actors have done soooo well I mean Emma Watson became the most richest female actress after this movie and shes done soo well going forward couldnt have it any other way even my brothers who are born in the 20s love Harry Potter obsessed like I am I am honestly soo proud of the actors for sticking to their roles no matter how hard and tough it was and because of them and their own success and confident they got popular and well known. As a strong Harry Potter fan I cant be anymore proud of how all this went

Harry Melling who played Dudley, I wonder if they didn't let him lose weight until after the movies. He looks like a totally different guy now. (Also i didn't know till just now that his real name is Harry, that must have been awkward with everyone angrily yelling at Harry all the time lol)

Giving them so much shit for smoking a little reefer while weed is now legalized across most states in the US and have become corporatized (Not to mention in Europe. Isn't weed legal in most european countries) C'mon man. As if most kids aren't popping mollies and getting high a bit.

Nice, they could have easily used the kids up and chuck them when they were done with them. Instead, they at least tried to make sure they held onto their childhoods and had some rules and structure. Could you imagine how bad they could have turned out without proper support?

Sorry but how can a film company make a child sign a long term contract. Even if their parents sign such a contract, the child cannot be obligated to full fill such a contract because of their age. Sounds more like film slavery and child exploitation then entertainment.

I am certain the scandals about the cast that went public were just the tip of the iceberg. I don't blame the actors though, going through their teens fully committed to several movies and long days on set can make anyone feel worn out and rebellious.

Who these characters were in the decisions that they made truly surprised me more than in the moviesc
like a character who played Gilderoy Lockhart have an affair with the children played Bellatrix with the same

About Americans. One of the students - I think Hannah Abbot or Susan Bones - was played by director Chris Columbus' daughter (in the first three movies.

My version
What if I rewrite my stars
Say i was made to be free
Nothin could tear me apart
You would be the one to save my life

Harry Potter films always have some moments to share with the fans and from what we saw, everyone on set, cast and crew alike, got along.
