Doing the costumes, hair, and makeup for any Marvel film is a big deal but typically there arent TEN leading actors needing extensive looks that also happen to span the range of thousands of years. All the work was topnotch and pulled off in an impressively short period of time. Only a handful of months were spent building hundreds of costumes many of which were actually repeats of costumes that the team needed to have as backups. Ten of each complex look had to be fabricated and you know Marvel isnt cutting any corners! Angelina Jolie was heavily involved in pretty much every aspect of the creation of her character, including a specially made, dyed, and styled blonde wig that she wears as Athena. The actors were big fans of how collaborative a process filming was, really finding their own in the character. Just seeing themselves in these suits could be extremely emotional Salma Hayek and Brian Tyree Henry are just a couple of the Marvel actors who grew emotional and even shed a few tears when they first saw themselves suited up! As gorgeous as they look, not everyone was a big fan of actually wearing them. Barry Keoghan was often complaining on set and Salma Hayek dreaded getting into hers because shes claustrophobic and thought the suit would be too much! Just one of the superhero struggles it seems. The complex suits had Kumail Nanjiani fooled he trained himself to not need to go to the bathroom when filming all because his costume pants were on backward! Whatever the actors hardships were, one thing we can all agree on is that they were worth it in the end because the hair, makeup, and costumes in Eternals are magic

All of the stars in the movie was amazing! Honestly but this maybe an unpopular opinion: in terms of the costumes design and the way it fitted on the actors and actresses of the film they did a fantastic job personally I think they could also use cosplayers help to make it easier for the actors and actresses to wear them because with cosplayers (especially ones who make the costumes from scratch) they know how to make certain things work to make the outfit fit more comfortably or at least as much as they can of course there will always be some sort of discomfort however its just the way it is made to make it easier to wear if it makes sense

Marvel needs to hire black woman to do the wigs only because everyone that wears a wig on these movies look too wiggy. But there is so many talented black woman who know how to lay down a wig and make them look real hair.

Angelina was absolutely astounding here. From the trailers we thought she was gonna be like an omega balls to the wall woman, yet she was a person broken and fragile and still tough and so hurt.

This movie overall setting and their costumes all have a great influence from Art Deco. They are visually the most beautiful geometrical art.

I would have been very disappointed is Salma didnt play Ajak cause she was natural and just beautiful she was born to play role of Ajak.
