Euphoria Season 2 Behind The Scenes

Euphoria season 2 definitely isnt as intense behind the scenes but that doesnt mean there isnt anything interesting going on. The cast is addicted to these stories and are shipping Rules more than the average fan. So much so that when they heard the new character Elliot, played by Dominic Fike, might be shaking things up and getting in the way, Zendaya, who plays Rue Bennett and Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules Vaughn, were totally jarred by the prospect. Part of that comes down to how much they love the LGBTQ+ plotline and they didnt want to see anything possibly damage that. They also love that labels are left out of the show. And you know what else is left out? Rehearsals. Theyre just winging it as they go. Sort of. Sydney Sweeny puts a lot of background work into her characters. Like, so much work they call it a bible. Shes not the only one putting the work in. Director/writer Sam Levinson always makes sure to check in with the actors and get their thoughts. He also totally rewrote most of season 2 when COVID first hit. Do you know why? COVID may have been a struggle mentally for the cast and crew with all of the uncertainty going around. But coping with lockdown and coping with the emotional toil of the show are two completely different beasts. Especially in season 2 which is considerably darker than season one. Zendaya wound up celebrating her birthday on set. Zendaya also experienced a bit of car trouble but not in the way you might think. It presented a whole new challenge. Check it out!

I think that only the darkness in the life of only one character can somewhat be easy to take down, but seeing how the darkness of many lives of these characters all combined together is what creates a dark and heavy feeling for the show.

Usually when I watch shows that have a second season its always boring, but this show didnt disappoint me at all. The second season of euphoria was amazing! Cant wait for the second episode to come out.

I began watching season one a few weeks ago, just checking it out, and got hooked. Binge watching through season 2. Very good series. Great cast
