Ready for more scandal, steamy romance, and lavish sets? Season 2 of Bridgerton has us covered with everything we wanted and more including some new actors ready to steal our hearts. The Sharmas were welcomed with open arms on set with Jonathan Bailey paying extra special attention to making sure his love interest, Simone Ashely, was well taken care of. In fact, Bailey and Ashley grew VERY close, acting like an old married couple on set but who else did Bailey show some behindthescenes love for? Queen Charlottes wigs are epic and so is Golda Rosheuvel who made sure to collaborate with the hair and makeup department to ensure she could be the queen she is all day including a secret weapon. While Season 1 was full of some of the steamiest scenes weve seen on screen, there is a whole lot less of it in the second season. When we do see it, its very spicy and very earned a trend were going to be seeing throughout the remainder of the series according to the shows creators. When its time to get up close and personal, extra contracts were signed on the day to ensure everyones comfort! The Bridgerton sets are lavish and decadent as can be one of them even includes actual gold paint on the walls! Some scenes were filmed on location while a shocking amount was built on one of the three sound stages in the filming studio. When it came time to play some games onscreen, the competition got very hot behind the scenes, with one actor doing a whole lot of damage to his props! Bridgerton is a feast for our eyes and were ready to binge the whole series all over again in anticipation of season 3!

Personally enjoyed this season so, so much. I feel like there was all the steaminess without the touching and that is seriously a credit to Simone and Jonathan. I also think this one nailed the family dynamics involved in regency era courtship practices both for the lords and the ladies, and generally gave us a much deeper understanding of the Bridgertons as a family. So good.

I like this season more. Theres a reason more it. Daphne was more romantic heroine but Kate bring out more to the character and to the story. Its not just marriage of convenience anymore. Two strong people falling in love is more amazing to see.

As I have read the books and now watch the seasons the chemistry between Simone Ashley and Johnathan Bailey is outstanding! I know that this will be my favourite couple for years to come. Cannot wait to see them both in season 3 and 4

Simone is absolutely breathtaking. Its all in her eyes. Those beautiful eyes. Season 2 was brilliant in showing intimacy. Season 1 was to much I skipped over all the intimacy off the dance floors.

I prefer season 1 and have binge watched. Im actually more interested in the side characters than Anthony and Kate and do not get all the feels that I got in Simon and Daphnes love story.

I'm just glad it is a bit tamer.
I was watching the first season at work only to have something that was definitely nsfw show up. After that, I only watched it at home.

I didnt think season 2 could beat season one but Im not gonna lie its pretty good. Love seeing the Hollywood magic needed to bring such a great show to life

'Falling in Love' is a bold ass title for number 12, considering that Jonathan Baily is gay lol. Their friendship is absolutely precious and beautiful though
