Mary Poppins Returns is not as great as the original Mary Poppins but it's not bad. What is similar with Bert and Jack is that they are street working men who got involved in the adventures. What's really amazing that the new songs were like the sequel's versions of the old songs. Like Trip a little light fantastic is to Step in time

Many peoples still don't understand that the movie is not a remake, it's a sequel. Julie Andrews even didn't want to be in the movie because she said, it is Emilys show and she want her to run with this. She dont want to be on top of her.

Have you even watched the 'new' film? It is not just the same story re hashed. Its a follow on. you talk as though you expected it to be a copy. I was very pleased with it. they are both great films.

Excuse me but this is not New Version vs Old Version -- This is Original and Sequel! Both can stand on their own. Mary Poppins Returns means exactly that. She comes Back.

Kids today only won't underatand if they never SEE MARY POPPINS (1964. very highly doubtful that kids or anyone today will ever scape te original 1964 MARY.
