I have always felt Spidey is the most under-rated hero there is. No, he isn't the strongest, but he is really strong. Couple that with insane agility and basically precognition and he is gonna be virtually unbeatable. It takes Omega level powers or the god-like ones (ie invulnerable) to beat him. Dude has gone toe to toe with the Hulk! Granted he didn't beat him, but he also didn't lose! I'll take a draw with the Hulk.

an mcu crossover with spidey and deadpool would not work. spideys a teenager in the mcu. in the comics hes grown-up. so there interactions would be totally different than what they could do in a comic. i. e, marvels biggest plothole, the kids didnt age during the snap. at least one opf them should of survived the snap. neds 21 and working at the daily bugle buying peter beer on the side.

I can't remember the issue, but there was a time that Spidey and Deadpool ended up going from fighting to swapping the dozens (yo mama jokes) in a school yard in front of a group of children.
Also, while not a mutant in the comics, he's also beaten Juggernaut single-handedly (but not Colossus with the Juggernaut mantle.

4: 45 Sorry, Amanda, it's a misconception that Scott's optic blasts is heat vision but in fact it's just concussive energy. No heat at all. So sorry but there's no cooking here. But don't worry about it; his own father made that misconception on a camping trip.

you are right spidey does get over in these fights with other heroes because hes the poster boy, i call it the batman effect, or the john cena paradox. were no matter the odds that one person is always gonna come out on top no matter how ridiculous the odds.

I love Spider-Man because he's the most balanced Superhero in my opinion. He's got Strength, Speed and Smarts. But he's not overpowered like Superman and Iron Man and Hulk. And not too ridiculously smart like Batman.

Honestly deadpool (not just honorably) does belong on this list because he is a mutant. It is just that what he got from being a mutant isn't a cool power, but full blown full body cancer. yikes

The reason Spider-man won against the powerful mutants was because the mutants went easy on him. They weren't going too hard against him. They just wanted to be with friends with him and not hurt him.

I think when the Black Cat actually fought Sabretooth deserves a shout out. Spider-Man also stopped the Juggernaut. Juggernaut isn't a mutant, but he is a regular enemy of the X-Men.

So, was/is Sabertooth a Marauder at time of those Spec. Spiderman issues? He, s a soldier of fortune, just takes enforcement jobs where he can? Between the Foreigher & Mr. Sinister?
