The DCEU does not have a moral center. It is a universe in disarray.
The franchise is a trainwreck. They screwed themselves with a Superman that kills. No killing and being a goodie two shoes was his weakness. It is also what made him interesting.
Having the power to vanquish an enemy at the cost of a couple hundred thousand human lives is a decision only a monster makes. Superman's true strength, as boring as it is, it is his compassion and respect for life. The Man of Steel is fueled by empathy and compassion--not vengeance and anger.
There is nowhere left for this Universe to go when Superman does not give consideration to the collateral damages he inflicts.
A Superman that is indisposed because he is teaching a little child to read, or comforting a seeing eye dog that has lost their person to a brutal mugging, or he is helping to clean up the mess he made saving Metropolis is an infinitely more interesting DCEU.
The DCEU does not need to two misanthropic abrasive heroes. Bring us a milquetoast, mild-mannered, too good to be true hero.

They should build off of Flashpoint by having Darkseid show up even sooner for Justice League 2. Use Lex Luthor, Deathstroke, and his Legion of Doom for the intro fight, then bring in the New God as the main villain for the rest of the film. Then, for Justice League 3, they should bring back Zach Snyder back to adapt Doomsday Clock, so it all comes full circle with Watchmen, Justice League, and Flashpoint.

Let's tell the truth. If _The Snyder Cut_ turns out to be even HALF what we believe. then Joss Whedon and the idiots at WB who brought him in will NEVER be allowed hear comic book movies ever again! Which, in Whedon's case. is a good thing. I for one believe he deliberately sabotaged _Justice League_.

I want a multiverse movie, like how about a Owlman movie. That would be very interesting turn of events for dceu and more of a way to get a rated r Batman like movie.
