To be honest. I don't think Including Bouncing Boy was really necessary. Yes, his powers seem silly, although no more so than characters like Chloraphyl Kid or Matter Eater Lad, but he has proven his worth to the team time and time again. One of the times he was removed from the legion roster was because there was a stipulation in the By-laws prohibiting married members from being on the team and he married Duo Damsel. ALSO, at least as far as the 80's pre-and early post original crisis continuity are concerned, the legion though so highly of his skills and experience that he was in charge of training at the Legion Academy, the place where aspiring heroes came to learn the trade, whether or not they applied for membership not withstanding. So just the fact that they considered him experienced, skilled and knowledgeable enough for that position should preclude him from being on this list. Add to that the fact that, even when he didn't have his powers he was still willing and capable of acting in a heroic manner (one such occasion even resulted in his powers being reactivated. So all of that taken together really makes him unsuitable for a list like this.
One more thing. his character helped a lot of kids with weight issues realize that they could be more than just a number on a scale, or a pant size that they could go beyond the limitations of their bodies and do something. extraordinary. even heroic. maybe even get the girl (although probably not one that could split in two and. well. never mind. My point is that there really is a lot more to the character and there is a depth that, once explored really puts him on a part with other, more traditionally portrayed heroes.

I personally think squirrel girl shouldn't be on this list
True, her abilities are a little out there, but as Amanda said, she's surprisingly defeated some of the biggest baddies in the Marvel Comics universe (BTW Amanda: you forgot to mention that she's also defeated Thanos)
