Team Dazzler all the way! My favorite mutant. Back from her original series when she was trying to figure it all out with her Walkman and magnetic clip on roller skates. But I love when they developed her heroism and commitment to learning how to use her abilities to their higher levels. The iconic jumpsuit with blue face paint is awesome, but the later versions are great too. Loved her minor inclusion in Dark Phoenix, but would sure love Marvel to embrace her and give her another shot in the spotlight.

Good video, some of that I didn't know, I loved Dazzlers look in the 80's in the X-men arcade game and the short lived piolit, that made it to vhs, She evidently can use her powers with no sound after some training with cyclops, she devolps this ability, which is pretty cool, though being a singer, and musician I think it's part of her shtick, so dazzler without sound is kinda sad, to me.

In 'Pryde of the X-Men', the pilot episode for an X-Men series which never got past that one try, I LOVED Dazzler. Blowing plant monsters up in the Danger Room by using her hands as a gun that fired little beads of exploding light made me wish they had featured her but, sadly, she was cast to the realm of relative obscurity.

If any one is treated very very badly is both wally's Gingers don't have enough heros and one of them is a black stereotype Gingers suffer racism too they get call souless and and witch's all the time people just don't realize. And I feel dazzler is of the hero that are completely miss treated for the things she love like Disco l.

Dazzler is super underrated. How can u say dagger, of cloak n dagger, is strong and dazzler is weak when dazzler can do more powerful things with light, except that healing, hope reading/stealing thing.

Converting sound to light would actually be very effective in any confrontation. You can-t fight if you can-t see. If the light she produces is bright enough, she could even damage opponents eyes.

I know it's pretty taboo at this point, but I LOVED Dazzler from the Ultimate XMen reveals that her powers might actually be subatomic and/or quantum in nature, meaning she was a closet OP.

I love Dazzler. Have every single issue. She needs to be an Avenger. Or join the Guardians of the Galaxy! She & Starlord would be a perfect fit, given their love of music.
