Think about both he and Magik can done armour but do their similarities stop there. Considering that his organic steel is resistant to magic, except magical blades that can cancel out invincibility, there must be some magic involved in his mutation.
I have a theory. Colossus [ like his sister] 'teleports' this living armour onto himself merging with it at a cellular level [or it is also possible that it is a magical avatar he just switches out with it]. Either way I believe the colossus body comes from a different dimension. I further believe Colossus's real mutation like Magik's is teleportation but he is limited to his armour. Think about it he has never tried to see if he can develop his mutant ability or to see if he has other skills.

He definitely gets my vote for being one of the most underappreciated of heroes. I've always thought he was a really cool character. Even simply in terms of appearance, from the start he was interesting. I would like to see more alternate versions of him. For example a hulkolossus. Maybe Thorolossus? Ooh, Spidolossus, he'd be like a wrecking ball on a web.

I know it-s probably too easy to write things like this, but if Colossus- metal was so great, why didn-t he survive Marvel Zombies. Like it boggles my mind when I think of Colossus and the Thing. Cause If you think about it, it just feels like they-d be able to survive due to they-re non-flesh skin. What do you guys think?

If you think about it Colossus is the strongest Human on the planet. He's the strongest mutant and take away the cosmic or gamma or chemical accidents noone is close to him natually other than the other mutants of strength. Strong guy etc.

Hell yeah been a colossus fan since I was a kid! Loved to see him in deadpool and hope they keep it going in future films!
