I like the current situation when AI generates music, and all these worthless old people are obviously unable to write something at the level of not even half but a third of the level of the songs of their youth, should simply disappear. I ve been listening to rock and metal for the last 30 years and it s obvious to me that the old people are worn out, and the youth are not able to generate something unique and original, so I prefer songs written by AI

I'm going to echo several commenters here by reminding WatchMojo of Madonna and U2. Madonna continues to reinvent herself by collaborating with younger artists, and is still making albums and touring at a high level. U2 has once again entered the zeitgeist with their Sphere shows. Perhaps solo artists and bands should have been honored with separate lists.

Cher could also easily go on here. She s had hits in every decade since the 60 s, be it original music, covers, and even a recent holiday album. She s been in movies (and is a f-cking Oscar winner, and still has legions of people know her decades after she started.

Jimmy Buffett's Come Monday was released in 1974 and he released three albums prior to that. He may not have attained the heights of some of the others, but he had his influence, as any of his dedicated Parrot Heads, young and old, can attest. RIP, Jimmy.

Willie Nelson just turned 90, and he continues to write and record songs and perform to this day. He just got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, just over 80 years since writing his first song.

Just saw Stevie 2 months ago and she was amazing! Same with Barry Manilow, Queen/Brian & Roger and Rick Springfield that I've seen in the last several years.

Can t agree with Bon Jovi being on this list, his voice is really shot. Hopefully he s had treatment for it, really hard seeing such a legend struggle.

Metallica, Billy joel, chili peppers, lionel richie, sir rod stewart, nile rodgers, Diana Ross, Rick astley and stevie wonder deservedly should've been there

Pretty surprised that Bob Dylan wasn't on this list. He have been touring non-stop for over 50 years and releases new albums regularly.

Man, I love this, Stevie Nicks is amazing, despite being hospitalized a couple of times, she still going strong at the age of 75.
